Gronkle

Your syndicate runs on a spreadsheet. It shouldn't.

Gronkle is the operations platform for shared-ownership aircraft — bookings, flight log, maintenance and billing in one place, with the cost split worked out automatically and correctly every month.

01 What it does

Everything the group argues about, in one place.

Syndicates run on spreadsheets, group chats and a shared calendar. That is error-prone, impossible to audit, and generates the same argument about who owes what every month.

/01

Bookings

Shared calendar for flight and maintenance with conflict detection, recurring bookings, a personal iCal feed, and push and email reminders.

/02

Flight log

Hobbs and airswitch meters tracked separately, with fuel, oil, cycles and tech-log hours. Exports to CSV and XLSX.

/03

Maintenance

Items due by hours or by calendar date, with downtime tracked so you can see what the aircraft actually cost you in availability.

/04

Billing

Monthly charges calculated from your syndicate's own rules, with bank balances pulled through from Xero.

/05

Flight planning

Weight and balance, plus take-off and landing performance read from your aircraft's digitised charts.

/06

Documents & access

Shared documents, role-based access across six roles from pilot to workshop, and an append-only audit log.

02 The difference

Your charging rules, encoded once.

Most tools make you compute the split yourself and type in a number. Gronkle encodes the syndicate's actual agreement — tiered hourly rates, minimum-hour round-ups for single and multi-day bookings, maintenance flights exempt — so the allocation is the same every month regardless of who runs it.

It also surfaces operational numbers a syndicate cannot otherwise see: the airswitch-to-hobbs ratio, maintenance downtime as a share of the year, oil consumption per hour, and real fuel burn.

03 Records that hold up

Built to be the record, not a copy of it.

Gronkle presents data that attests to airworthiness, and in the live deployment it replaces the aircraft tech log under an AMC. That sets the bar: anything touching maintenance currency, hours to next inspection or tech-log records has to be accurate, auditable and immutable before it is convenient.

The data model is append-only, every change is attributed in the audit log, and you can export the lot at any time. It is your maintenance history — you should never be locked out of it.

Under the hood

/

Append-only data

Corrections are recorded as corrections. Nothing is quietly overwritten.

/

Attributed audit log

Every change carries who, what and when.

/

Full export

Your records, out whenever you want them.

/

Installable

Works offline-tolerant on a phone in the hangar, no app store required.

04 Pricing

One price, per aircraft.

$49.95 NZD / month, per aircraft

Not per pilot. A six-member syndicate pays the same as a two-member one, because the aircraft is the thing being managed.

  • Every feature — nothing held back for a higher tier
  • Unlimited members and roles
  • Your charging rules configured with you
  • Weight, balance and performance charts digitised for your airframe
  • Xero connection
  • Export of everything, at any time

05 Early access

We are onboarding a small number of syndicates.

Gronkle is live and in daily use by one syndicate. We are opening it to a few more, and working directly with each on their charging rules and aircraft data. Tell us about yours.
